Job title:  FACILITIES SUPERVISOR

Summary/Objective:  The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and building operations 
of one or more facilities, buildings, or properties. 
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities: 
1. Responsible for facilities team (timecards, annual evals, etc.). Responsible for the long-term 
success and development of employees by providing key mentorship and career development 
coaching. 
2. Safety Owner for site - OSHA compliance, hazardous-waste handling and storage, injury 
reporting, emergency response / incident command ownership. 
3. Serves as POC for internal and customer audits in Facilities area. 
4. Hires and oversees contractors performing work in the interior and exterior of the facility. Strong 
communication skillset (verbal and written) to present to all levels of leadership within the facility. 
5. Should be familiar with standard building construction and maintenance procedures. 
6. Develop maintenance policies and procedures that ensure optimal functioning of buildings, 
grounds, and associated equipment. 
7. Provides a safe, clean, comfortable, compliant, scalable environment while maximizing cost 
saving opportunities. 
8. Manages all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, 
refrigeration, and waste management. 
9. Ensure facilities maintenance work follows safety standards, conforms to specifications, and that 
work orders are tracked and completed within the budgeted guidelines. 
10. Manages staff and contractors in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. 
11. Performing or overseeing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs on all systems and 
other facilities equipment. 
12. Making periodic or special inspections of premises to determine repair work necessary. 
13. Assuring appropriate resources are maintained to assure Quality System compliance. 
14. Gathering and reviewing facility data (CMMS, Autotech, KPI’s,etc.), system specifications, 
company or government restrictions and handling multiple projects while making decisions.  
15. Being responsible for compliance with OSHA, city building codes and safety regulations. 
16. Preparing and maintaining maintenance logs and all building files. 
17. Managing recycling program as outlined by EHS Manager at New Albany Corporate Office. 
18. “Responsible for coordinating CAD layout changes with the CAD Design team or owning CAD 
drawings depending on the facility .

Required Experience:  
1. Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience working in a high-tech environment and/or direct hands-on 
experience with Industrial Facilities Management. 
2. Experience working in a high-tech environment or hands-on experience with commercial building 
systems. 
3. Capability of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist and have full use of all digits. 
4. Capability of standing and/or sitting for more than 90 minutes straight. 
5. Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions: Must be willing to work in a chemical environment as well 
as adhere to all department safety rules and regulations. 
6. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, knowledge and advanced troubleshooting a plus. 
7. Professional certifications are a plus.  (608A, OSHA, Forklift licensure etc.) 
Education: 
1. Technical Degree or equivalent is desired.
